The unit

  • Stands on its own. About 24 by 6 by 8 inches, on its own base, beside the door. Nothing to install.
  • Fits any shoe or boot size. The film wraps the sole as you lift. Nothing goes over the top of the shoe.
  • Works on hardwood, tile, LVP, carpet. The adhesive faces the shoe; the floor only meets the clean side of the film.
  • 187 pairs a roll. Open the lid, drop in a new roll, feed the first cover to the plate.

What is the TidySteps door unit?

A unit that sits inside your entry. Step on the plate, pull, and tear off a clear cover over your sole in about two seconds. It keeps what is outside off your floor. It is floor protection, nothing more.

Which floors does it work on?

Hardwood, tile, LVP, carpet. The unit stands on its own base and attaches to nothing. It measures about 24 by 6 by 8 inches, so it sits beside a door without blocking it.

What does the deposit cover?

The $29 deposit holds one door unit. At balance time you pick the unit at $99 plus $14 shipping, or the gift kit at $129 with 2 rolls. The deposit is credited in full. Nothing renews.

Can I get the deposit back?

Yes. The deposit is refunded in full on request at any time before shipment. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.

When does it ship?

You get the ship date with your balance notice, before anything beyond the deposit is charged. If that date moves, you get a notice with the new date and the choice to wait or take a full refund.
